Are you aware that stress and anxiety are different?
A PERSONAL EXPERIMENT: I chose a weekend to MONITOR my tinnitus. Just to observe what it did in terms of loudness. I used a simple scale of 1-10, 1 = very quiet, and 10 = as loud as I believe it can possibly be.
We do nothing until we reach that point where we have to DO something
It’s only been a couple of weeks, and I have learned something that has surprised me
ETD (Eustachian Tube Dysfunction) and sinus problems increase tinnitus loudness perception - what to do about it
What we are talking about here is someone’s EXPERIENCE of idiopathic tinnitus. It’s their experience that is “bad” - not the electrical activity
The start of a new year is a really good time to throw out the old
This is precisely how tinnitus becomes a problem. We don’t want to hear it. We want it to go away. And the more meaning that has to us, the more the “story” persists
Every day, most of us live in or with the illusion that we need, must or have to be in control and only then can we let go and be free of whatever is disturbing/distressing us....... Control is commonly an illusion!
Nothing can be done about IT
